Reading and writing
At Language Connection Therapy PLLC, I believe that language and literacy are human rights. I serve children and families affected by language and literacy struggles and disorders. I do this by implementing structured literacy intervention that targets specific areas needing instruction.

Meet the SLP
Alexandra Ritter, M.S. CCC-SLP
Welcome to Language Connection Therapy PLLC. I am Alex, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Texas, holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). I graduated from my master’s program in 2018 and have since dedicated my career to supporting individuals and their families with communication disorders.
My professional journey has taken me through diverse roles, including working in Texas public schools, serving as a clinical supervisor, and contributing as an adjunct faculty member and research SLP at Texas Christian University. I have also had the honor of providing continuing education at the local, regional, and state level.
I am deeply committed to advocating for students and their families, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive. My primary focus is on oral and written language disorders in school-age children and speech sound disorders. Additionally, I have experience working with social-pragmatic language and AAC.
I look forward to hearing from you and discussing how to support and partner with you as an individual with a communication disorder, as a parent of a child with a communication disorder, a fellow professional, or as a community member.
